The Charismatic Leader
The Third Chakra-Dominant Individual
The third chakra is the "I Am" center of a person's reality. It is the "I am becoming, who I am, who I think I am, who I feel I am" chakra. The third chakra-dominant individual has incarnated to learn personal power, to learn of their own succinct individuation as a spirit in a physical body with free will. Most of what you will read in this chapter has to do with the exposition of personal power and that of the individuated soul incarnate. This includes the strong sense of self and the acknowledgment of one's personal power through the understanding of ever-increasing levels of truth.
It can be a difficult chakra to work with, as the individual can be in power struggles, manipulative behavior, addictions, and severe confidence issues. The payoff is in the charismatic leader, who has imbued themselves with the highest level of truth they can hold. This leads to authenticity, veracity, and further exposition of personal power.
Some third chakra people are born in their power and must learn to use it, whereas the majority of people on the planet must spend time developing and accepting their personal power. Often, the third chakra dominant person is unaware of the actual personal power they have.
The power of the consciousness that flows through the third chakra emphasizes one's uniqueness and personal power, thus the drama of developing the sense of "self." When one's consciousness begins to feel the hint of the greatness that is available as consciousness, inevitable lessons in strengthening one's character ensue. Typically, one can go through intense periods of personal dilemmas, especially related to any decisions of an emotional nature.
A third chakra person would have no difficulty making decisions for another person or for purely "mechanical" issues. Where the third chakra dominant personality would have difficulty making decisions is with emotional issues. This is because emotional energy does not follow the same pathways as linear thinking. Emotions are qualitative and thoughts are quantitative. A qualitative energy as emotion cannot be quantified as in "How much do I love you," but rather is a state of being that has a nexus of many feelings at the same time.
The third chakra dominant individual is faced with conveying truth, and is often up against the qualitative aspects of the emotions when making decisions. The truth, as it is, is an ultimate with respect to one's capacity and capability to hold it. This individual will always exceed the truth, especially if they conceive that there is a level of truth above them that they sense but do not yet know. Hence, the third chakra individual will always tend to exceed themselves, often at any expense if they perceive there is any truth above that which they currently hold and understand. There is an ongoing aspiration that drives one to higher and higher forms of truth, to ultimately reject a truth that is greater than the personality can bear, or to embrace that level of truth to the exclusion of all lesser truths.
The struggle in being the third chakra dominant individual is that truth, in itself, will drive them to reject or accept reality as it is. To suffer would be to live in anything less than the truth they presently perceive as ultimate. To suffer would be to create mentalisms through addictive behaviour. This acts as a lower aspect of the third chakra, where the mind attempts to capitulate to the strength of the chakra and picks up addictions.
Some third chakra personalities have the ability to manifest easily, for they are born with much power already. Most of these people seldom realize their natural power to manifest into physical reality. And, it seems that many do not believe that the process of manifestation is so very simple, especially for a third chakra-dominant person. That does not change the energy. The ability to manifest in some third chakra individuals is very powerful. It may come from the ability to see through the veils and perceive truth so powerfully.
We all aspire to truth. The third chakra-dominant person lives in the essence of this consciousness, and it drives them, impels them to higher and higher levels. It is this energy that induces others to follow the third chakra individual, and the same energy that can make them a very powerful spiritual leader.
A third chakra person can, through the law of reciprocity, pull into their lives others who have great difficulty finding their personal truth. This energy has two dimensions: whether the third chakra individual will accept their power or not. This also is where the elements of manipulation and manifestation come into play. We often invite the inverse of what we represent into our lives so that we can then learn from the mirror of opposites. Through the suffering that the illusion of separation represents, we seek to unify the separation into a cohesive whole. The truth that flows through the third chakra-dominant individual sets the stage for others to come into their lives to be presented with ever-higher levels of truth unfolding. If resisted, both parties will spiral into another set of circumstances that will provide the possibility of optimal outcome based on right choice and right action. This set of circumstances will repeat itself in endless variations, also dependent upon the karma, skill sets, mission statement, and free will of the individuals involved.
Remember that a third chakra person will exceed themselves in truth, hence they may always be in situations or circumstances that set the stage to give the truth, or hide from it. If denied, the truth will surface in another way, unless any of the participants must reincarnate to learn the lessons in a different way.
Often the third chakra-dominant personality will wonder why everyone seems to be bringing their disputes before them. Wondering why others have made the third chakra personality judge, the individual will represent truth as it shines through the third chakra as an individuation of the truth. Others, perceiving the chakric energy, will bring their differences before the third chakra person because they perceive the authenticity and veracity that are antecedents of the individuation of truth. Others will expect that the answers given will be in authority, whether the third chakra individual perceives it or not.
Why is it that the third chakra-dominant personality so-often is given positions of power, even though at times it may seem that they have not the experience or knowledge (internally and externally) for the position? Remember that 95% of all communication is non-verbal, and we are in psychic communication with each other at all times, whether we are aware of it or not. We are constantly taking psychic relationships to others to work out our life's experiences.
A third chakra-dominant individual would often have issues of confidence in their contributions to life and society because they fear "what could be true is true". That means that the level of truths available for individuated expression are so wholistic and complete, that often the third chakra person may live their lives by truth, be great detectors of deception in others, and even be great counselors, but they may still live in great fear of their own power, and engage in the manifestation of situations and occurrences that will develop the understanding and right use of power. The third chakra-dominant person is the giver of truth to the world, helping others to find their truth and attain optimal living of life.
Strengthening Attributes for the Third Chakra
1. Anything that stimulates the acknowledgement of "Self", the uniqueness and individual character of the third chakra-dominant personality. Promoting a sense of personal likes and dislikes, encouraging individual pursuits and interests. The emphasis is to promote the "I" Am presence of the individual through self-merit and individual contribution. What is it that makes that person unique and viable as a human being?
2. Availability of truth. An encouragement that truth is always available from within as in the recognition of no separation. The individual must realize, through personal effort, that the higher truths are borne within and any externalization through others is simply a mirror of the truths that the person holds.
Meditation to Strengthen the Third Chakra Personality
"The Thirty-Second Rule" Close your eyes.
Imagine you are counting thirty seconds with your watch. In that time, ask yourself the following questions: "What am I feeling now? What do I feel in this moment?" Pay attention to your feelings; savor the moment and feel.
This meditation accomplishes two goals:
First, by using the word "I", you are identifying yourself as uniquely you; an individuated spirit. There is no other "you". Second, by using the words "feeling now" and "in this moment" you are pulling in all of your power, spread across time and space, into the single moment. This consolidates your power entirely in the moment.
Using both together puts you firmly in the moment and in your uniqueness. It makes available to you your entire truth and power, and renders emotional decisions much easier.
